"Call it top billing. Bill Clinton is set to appear at the New York premiere for Martin Sheen and Emilio Estevez’s film ‘The Way,’ with proceeds benefiting the Walkabout Foundation,” announced the New York Times’ style section. Or, call it a family affair Martin (ne Ramón Gerardo Antonio Estevez) is Emilio’s and Charlie’s dad (the latter’s government name being Carlos Irwin Estevez, just for Sheen-Estevez trivia enthusiasts). Fittingly, "The Way” is described as "a powerful and inspirational story about family, friends, and the challenges [one faces] while navigating this ever-changing and complicated world,” according to the movie’s website. (You know, "challenges.”) Martin and Emilio both star in the pic written and directed by Emilio and the special benefit screening at The School of Visual Arts will be followed by an after-party at Imperial No. Nine at the Mondrian with invited guests including fashion insiders and socialites.
