Earlier this week, New York’s celebrities came out to fete the premiere screening of "Dirty Girl” at the Landmark Sunshine Cinema downtown followed by an after-party at Jimmy in The James, among those stylish moviegoers were Donna Karan and fashion bud, Calvin Klein. "After making a splash at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival and scoring a reported $3 million distribution deal, ‘Dirty Girl’ is finally getting its U.S. theatrical release [nationwide tonight],” reported WWD. Set in the ’80s, "the film stars 22-year-old British actress Juno Temple [who some liken to a young Kate Moss] as the precocious and promiscuous title character.” In a storyline that sounds like it could have had a place on HBO’s "Big Love,” she wants to leave home to find her long-lost father played by country start Tim McGraw because her especially young mom played by Milla Jovovich is set to marry a domineering Mormon played by William H. Macy. All in all, sounds like a fun Sunday night movie.
